Apr 5 “Landscape Photography”
On April 5th the activities Committee will have a session on Landscape Photography. We want this to be an interactive session with participation from all members. Members who in the past may have gotten high scores (8+ at the club or 24+ at PFLI) should send me up to 3 digital copies of their images and be prepared to talk about, where, when, and how the images was captured. If you have landscape images that didn’t score well send them in also and we’ll try and find out why. Send in both B&W and Color.

Landscape Photography has many definitions and sub areas, including seascapes and cityscapes. They all include the great outdoors and pursuing the quality of light that can brings vast spaces into brief glowing scenes of beauty.

We will review equipment and show a short video of a landscape photographer chasing the light.

Apr .12 Photojournalism is using a photograph to tell a story. While photojournalists take pictures of people, places, and things, the emphasis is on the verb; What is happening? What are the people doing? What story are you trying to tell?" Send in no more than 3 pictures via the club website no later than April 9th. Label your pictures: first name last initial and title. Send them using the same format as for digital competition.

Apr .19 Competition- Andreas Rentsch

Again, please send in a maximum of 3 photos, labeled as above, and also indicating which category you have chosen. The format is the same as for digital competition. Please send your photos to the club website no later than April 30th.
